Set up your Bookisia business
Complete the essential settings customers rely on before you accept your first booking.
Updated July 23, 2026Before you begin
Have your business name, contact information, time zone, service list, staff availability, cancellation rules, and logo ready. Accurate setup prevents customers from selecting the wrong time or contacting the wrong person.
1. Complete your business profile
Sign in to the Bookisia admin portal, open Business settings, and confirm:
- Your public business name and description.
- The email address and phone number customers should use.
- Your address or whether services are online or mobile.
- Your local time zone. This controls every availability and appointment time.
- Your logo and public-facing business image.
2. Create your first service
Open Services, choose Add service, and enter a clear name, duration, price, location, and preparation instructions. Assign at least one staff member. A service without an assigned and available staff member cannot produce bookable times.
3. Set availability
Add regular working hours for each staff member, then record breaks, holidays, and other unavailable periods. Use the booking-page preview to confirm that the times shown match your expectations.
4. Review the customer experience
Open your public booking page in a private browser window and complete a test booking with an email address you can access. Verify the confirmation email, displayed time zone, meeting or location instructions, price, and cancellation policy.
Do not publish your booking link until a complete test booking works from selection through confirmation.
Your setup is ready when
- A customer can find and select the correct service.
- Available times reflect the assigned staff member’s schedule.
- Confirmation messages contain the correct details.
- You can see and manage the test appointment in Bookings.
