Connect and use Zoom

Authorize Zoom meeting creation for bookings, resolve common issues, and remove the integration.

Updated July 23, 2026

What the Zoom integration does

When an eligible online service is booked, Bookisia creates a Zoom meeting and adds its joining information to the appointment. Changes to the booking may update or remove the associated meeting.

Prerequisites

  • An active Bookisia account with permission to manage integrations.
  • A Zoom account allowed to authorize Marketplace applications.
  • A Bookisia service configured as an online appointment.
  • Pop-ups allowed temporarily if your browser blocks the authorization window.

Add the integration

  1. In Bookisia, open Settings → Integrations.
  2. Find Zoom and select Connect.
  3. Sign in to Zoom using the account that should own new meetings.
  4. Review the requested permissions and select Allow.
  5. Return to Bookisia and confirm that Zoom shows Connected.
  6. Create a test service and booking, then verify that a Zoom joining link appears.

How Bookisia uses Zoom access

Bookisia uses the authorized access to create, read, update, and delete meetings associated with your Bookisia appointments. Account identifiers and authorization credentials are stored so the connection can operate. Meeting details are used to keep the booking and Zoom meeting synchronized.

Do not share a host joining link publicly. Customers should receive the attendee link provided with their appointment.

Troubleshooting

Zoom says administrator approval is required

Your Zoom account may restrict Marketplace apps. Ask the Zoom account administrator to approve Bookisia, then repeat the connection.

No meeting was created

Confirm that Zoom is connected, the booked service is configured for an online meeting, and the connected Zoom user is still active. Disconnecting or changing the owner can prevent updates to previously created meetings.

The meeting time is wrong

Check the business, staff, and Zoom account time zones. The appointment remains the source of truth; correct the booking time rather than manually editing only the Zoom meeting.

Remove the integration

You can disconnect Zoom from Settings → Integrations → Zoom → Disconnect. You can also remove Bookisia from Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps.

Before removal, review future online appointments and send replacement joining instructions where required. After removal, Bookisia can no longer create or update Zoom meetings. Authorization credentials are invalidated or deleted according to the applicable retention process; booking records required for business, security, or legal purposes may remain under Bookisia’s privacy policy.

If you reconnect later, complete the authorization flow again.
