Manage bookings
Find, confirm, reschedule, cancel, and follow up on customer appointments.
Updated July 23, 2026Find an appointment
Open Bookings and use the date, status, staff, or service filters. Search by customer name or contact information when the appointment date is unknown.
Confirm a booking
Open the appointment and review the customer, service, date, time zone, assigned staff member, location, payment status, and notes. Change its status to Confirmed only when the business is prepared to deliver it.
Reschedule
Choose Reschedule, select an available time, and save. Confirm that the new time does not conflict with external calendars or staff commitments. Bookisia sends the applicable update notification, but for a last-minute change you should also contact the customer directly.
Cancel
Before cancelling, review your cancellation and refund policy. Select the reason, cancel the appointment, and confirm whether a separate refund is required in Stripe. Cancelling an appointment and refunding a payment are distinct actions.
Appointment status meanings
- Pending: created but still awaiting action or confirmation.
- Confirmed: accepted and expected to take place.
- Completed: the service was delivered.
- Cancelled: the appointment will not take place.
- No-show: the customer did not attend.
Use statuses consistently so reporting and customer history remain useful.
If the customer did not receive an email
Confirm their address for typing errors, ask them to check spam, and verify that the booking saved successfully. Do not create a duplicate appointment simply to trigger another email; resend or communicate the confirmed details directly.
